It’s all over the news. What do y’all think about this tinderbox of a situation?

Ukraine is the red herring for Taiwan. Us gets sucked into Ukraine and China invades Taiwan. I don’t give two flips about a country that is dumb enough to give up its nuclear weapons.

There’s plenty of places to pick a fight. I think “when” is a better question.

Any thing that is "all over the news is a distraction from something else".
The magicians are waving their left hands wildly about Ukraine.
What's righty up to? Crickets.

Perhaps Russia has colluded with Biden to distract us from Biden’s CF Central?

News out now that Putin wants to install pro Russian government in Ukraine. He is feeling threatened by nato expansion, and looking to keep from getting completely hemmed in by nato.
I say it's a shame for the Ukranians, but not our fight. Give them some arms, help make it as painful for Russia as possible but not worth US lives.

Putin won’t stop his western expansion unless he is stopped.

He has often lamented the dissolution of the Warsaw pact. I concur that we shouldn’t shed American blood for Ukraine.

That said…is sacrificing Ukraine our version of the Peace in our time?

IMHO

It's not our problem until it is our problem, then we have less allies and will be engaging an entrenched enemy. Rings awfully similar to WW1 and WW2.

Yep…Putin has to be stopped now or he’ll keep expanding until he hits the English channel.

Western Europe is not that large, about the size of Texas, with room left over. Until Russia gets enough warm water ports to keep his merchant and Blue water navy operating 365 he ain’t going to stop.

America trying to stay out of wars has caused it to have to fight worse wars.

That said it’s not my grease that’s going to be melted in the fire.
