The public area last week barely killed 80 ducks all week. We used to average that per day. They are averaging around 15 ducks per day now which is less than one per hunting party. Is there anything going on to the North? Anybody killing anything anywhere? Mermet and Horseshoe are struggling also. We need some cold weather.

Seems to have been somewhat of a reverse migration with the record temps. They'll be back, it's gotta get cold eventually?

Saw a FB post a couple of days ago from one of the best clubs in Arkieland and they had killed 61 GWT that day while hunting in tshirts. Not mallard weather by any stretch.

A buddy of mine drove the refuge and the hunting area at sunset yesterday and didn't see much just snow geese. Doesn't look good this week again.
