Has anyone been to Union County lately? I was there this morning and I swear that place is like a horse with a broken leg this year... somebody needs to shoot it! I have dropped zeros on almost every trip there!!!

Been hunting a club just south of the refuge some and it's been hit & miss, this week it slowed down. It sounded like the public area did some shootin Fri. morning though.

I was there Sunday, as well as three other groups of friends. We at least got to shoot. Sunday was just a sucky day. 40 something killed Thurs, 60 something Fri., and 70 something killed there Sat. I didn't stick around to get the count for Sunday, but would guess it was close to 20 birds. We saw the most birds between 11 and noon. I will probally never go back.

For the most part, only two pits/blinds did any shooting Friday and I was fortunate enough to be in one of them. Its still bad down there, but at least we saw some ducks compared to the first time we were there this year (2nd day of season).
