Union County has been horrible. They have killed less than 50 ducks the last four days. I was there this morning and only saw two ducks!

This trend tends to happen with the bright full moon and no weather. The ducks aren't getting off the refuge till about 5 right now. I'm seeing a few ducks in the afternoons then about 5 they pile in.

JQP plans on making the pilgrimage on the 29th. It is going to seem strange not hunting at Plan B or Fort Chartres.

The theory of ducks feeding late on full moons is probably the truest of all. Stupid moon, go away!
