Thought that was kinda the V3? But I don't know my Remingtons that well. All I know is that my Buddy and his son will tell you that any improvement on their Versmax's is a good thing. They have both been in and out of the shop in Illion,NY a couple times a piece. But they will buy a Versamax 2 if they come out with one, I think they both bleed Green!

Sounds like Benelli cool aid drinkers! They buy it no matter what!

    This^^^^^^^^ all day long!
My Versa Max Waterfowl Pro has been unstoppable. I've got a couple of Beretta A400 Xtreme Plus, but I seem to pick up the Remington every time. I don't drink the cool aid, and I doubt I bleed Remington green, BUT I do love that old Versa Max. Only way my opinion on it would improve is to have one in 10ga.

My Versamax is the original and has been flawless for a few years now.

    Would like a v3 20 gauge!
Been away from Remington since a bad 700 experience. Shot the versamac the other day and thought it handled very nice. Would like to see what the 2 has as upgrades

Yup. My sportsman has been unstoppable. Liked it so much I bought a v3. Then another. Only thing I don’t like is the carrier on the v3

I really like the versa max. The fit and finish needs to be better. I find the fit of the forearm and how low the shell lifter extends from the receiver will catch straw and grass from the blond cover. Shot a beretta A400 xtreme this season after the versa max had some reliability issues. I replaced those parts and finally tested it this weekend and no problems. A versa max 2 could be very nice.

my versaamax has also been perfect. will not even think of any other auto again. it would take one hell of a shotgun to beat out my versamax. and i have over the years tried most of them. i keep it clean and just like new all season long. i just like doing it this way.
