Holy whoa. Crazyness. Has anyone here watched this docuseries on Netflix???? While I can’t stand religious nut jobs I have to say the Feds/ATF 100% caused this and made it into the event that happened. There was no reason for all of those women, kids, men and ATF agents to die. Massive mistakes by our Government in the handling of this. Anyways. Give it a watch. Pretty incredible.

All of these people died because they had illegal machine guns and grenades that were posing no threats to anyone. Just unbelievable. Such incompetence by the people in charge.

The docuseries shows a lot of never seen before footage and interviews with survivors from the compound and Agents who were involved. Really intriguing.

The Jim Jones deal ended a little differently. Cults are a tough thing to deal with, throw in religion and what do you do? What are the limits? It's ok to hold people against their will? I don't have the answers.

So is the deal that the Davidians started the fire? They played a tape that sounded like people inside starting it. Yes, I heard the people who said it wasn't....but it was just their words.

I'm asking, I have no idea, it seems like enough crazy from everyone and both sides on that deal.

The original assault might have been one of the dumbest things I have ever seen....but not the dumbest. I've seen plenty of film clips and knew that it was a cluster fork....but it was interesting to see it all put together.

In the end, I suppose I'm not taking the side of the most crazy forking lunatic on the scene, among no shortage on either side....or the guy who hid from the entire fight and then ran out and saved himself when it caught fire....pizz on him too.

It was reported at the time that Koresh went into Waco from time to time to buy ice cream, shop at flea markets, etc. (Don't know if he was still doing it or not.) If he was, would have made a lot of sense to just arrest him in town....

Foolishness like that is why so many people have mixed feelings about the police, especially the feds.
