I saw two in the 8500-9500 range. No shot.I shot one in the rubies about 15 years ago dropped it cold looked for hours never found it thing looked like a turkey. I was at about 8500 feet if flew down a step canyon and I shot it I still hate that I never found it.

Most people hunt Snowcock without dogs. We took ours for just that reason. We didn't see any sign below 10,000.
