War with China?

Militarily the US is sitting in a very strong position on this one. Flight ops out of the Phillipine Sea, Japan and S. Korea would turn the China Seas into a graveyard for the Chinese navy and air force. Sadly, once China would turn off the trade spigot, they would destroy the US within a matter of months, if not weeks. They'd never have to fire a missile at the mainland and they could crater our country.
Sad times we are living in, and don't see any measurable improvement in the near term.

The trade spigot has been turned to a trickle, eight months to a year for formally simple electrical part to arrive and I mean simple contact blocks, touchscreen controls are on a who needs it and have a story ready to get it months after continuous missed ship dates.

Our best and brightest minds thought it was a good idea to outsource our basic production needs to a potential future adversary, top men, women, they, them, it ??? What am I missing there.

I don’t think so.
Some might say it’s trending there but you know, if we went all out tomorrow we would suffer but I think we have the edge.

Unless Russia is trying to draw us out by faking complete incompetence I still think we could crush China in the event they invaded Taiwan.
Look at Russias attempt in Ukraine.
China is trying to play the long game get the world off US dollars.

Our trade imbalance with China is not a new thing. What's different is the progressive steepness. If ya consider the numbers, China ought to be in love with us as a great customer and view getting into a war as shooting themselves in the azz.

You are right, we’re not out yet, the problem is the enemy within, It has to be dealt with, how and to what extent.

The problem is the major manufacturers seem to believe this is a short term issue and continue to believe it will be sorted out in the near future.

I believe that will happen when we realize products we need have to be produced here, the elected and the green movement will not allow it.

We need manufacturing to fight a conventional war, popping open canned sunshine complicates things a bit.

Draft the illegals into the military send them across the globe to go fight whatever boogeyman is in vogue at the moment.
Implement huge tariffs on imports.
Impeach the swamp from office.
Slash spending AMG govt bureaucracies abolish most ridiculous regulations.
Hmm what next?
Hire more police fire.
Reduce welfare.
Bring back insane asylums put the homeless in them
Enforce the law
Close all borders
Ummm I’m sure there’s a lot of other stuff but this would be a good start.
