Use the heck out of em. Re did the seals in one this year. Pump prolly had 400+ hours on it.
Have 2. Will run for 24+ hours idled slightly down with the 6 gallon donut tank. First one I purchased before Higdon picked up distribution, probably 6 years ago...made in Regina, Canada.
Where is the best place to buy the 6"hose that those pumps use? It comes with thick plastic hose, like garbage bag material.
I haven't found anywhere that sells thin hose like that.
I buy it locally but have gotten from irrigation king on the web. Or just google Lay Flat 6" hose
Bought one this spring. Having trouble getting the external tank to run properly. Any photos or suggestions for the fuel line/pump hook up? I am considering just running a external marine fuel tank and hooking it directly to fuel line engine.
I installed a standard outdoor boat motor priming bulb in line between the ring gas tank and the fuel pump. Wasn't a real problem before except you avoid a lot of pulling to prime. Pump the bulb till tight and fires right up.
I think that is called poly pipe and comes in a roll.
Rice farmers use tons.
I had help from some extremely generous arkansas farm hands. They flooded the field that my guys were trying to flood using a trash pump.?
15 acres in Egypt. Those farmers showed up with everything. Woke me up and said cmon we got a surprise for you. Thank God.
I got the pump and got it going all I can say is wow never thought a lawn mower motor and plastic could do that . 1.3 million gals for around 8 gals of gas.
