Ha ha ha I’ve got a few buddies I hunt with through the area. We guide fly fishing for frying pan anglers.
Have you been getting out there? Western Zone closes today but definitely getting after it when it opens up again.

Smack a couple mallards and blue wings. Still in my first calendar year of duck hunting. Looking forward to the second leg! And how’s the bite up that way?!

Did you post on the DU app? I've been hunting in the area for quite a long time and its always hit or miss. Its been super slow so far for me although I haven't been out to often. Have been waiting for those northern storms to push some new birds into town. Hunted in Carbondale today and only had one hen mallard fly into the spread and I let here hang out. So... 0 birds were in the bag today.
