Short notice I know but just received the following email this morning.

Hi all. This morning I received a message from a WWA member about the proposed rule changes by the WDFW. I'll admit I'm a bit embarrassed that I did not already know about it. I did not receive the notification or I inadvertently ignored it. Anyway here (proposed changes) is the link to the WDFW that lists the proposals. Two of them may be of concern; The lowering of the pintail limit to ONE and the shift of the snow goose season to a late season.

Once on the WDFW page you will have opportunity to remark about the changes on the bottom of the page BUT, it is due by midnight tonight! They only give you 1000 words so try and make your remarks direct and to the point and please avoid the use of cuss words and such.

    Proposed Changes

    Thank you all once again,

    Kurt Snyder

It was tough to give them my thoughts without using any salty language, but I pursurvered

An interesting thing happened when I filled out the required info...3 buttons to push: approved, disapprove, or neutral. On my first 3 attempts I hit the disapprove button, and the format would not let me post and sent me to the home page erasing my comments. On the 4th attempt I hit the approve button, wrote my comments, and then quickly changed to disapprove and it let me post.
Am I ready for the conspiracy tin foil hat, or do you think our friends at the WDFW might have made a program with a glitch that made it tough to disagree with their policies?

My opinion, politics. East vs West flyways. Eastern flyways have pin problem (among other things) Pacific flyway has pintails but no hue is.

At face value I’m seeing a ton of pintails? Would love to see if there was any data on harvest totals and bird counts
