it's not strictly because of the corona virus, it's because of Inslee's inane implementation plan.

This state has become such a joke for hunters and fishermen.

Every year I get closer and closer to moving to Idaho. This might finally be the straw that breaks the camels back. That’s being said I don’t think WFWD does a good job spending their money they have anyways.

Maybe a step in the right direction would be to elect a new governor this November.
The governor appoints the WDFW director, and it's 9 commisoners. You will need good common sense leadership at the top in order to clean up this mess.

For the kind of job they do all one has to look at is the state of salmon after a couple of billion spent and 30 plus year of ESA listings, and the beat goes on.

How much would they save if they cleaned house and eliminated all the dead weight, non needed employees?
They have people on the payroll that do NOTHING for the betterment of fish and wildlife.

So let me get this straight now, they cut the opportunity for years, then close, and they pile on regulations till you need a law degree to determine if you are compliant while hunting or fishing, and then are surprised when less people buy licences and thus decrease their revenue?
Hard to figure out why they have had a continuing decline in revenue from license sales over the last 10 years without COVID???

Going to an online APP based catch and hunt record card system would likely save a few $M and thousands of trees as I need a separate wallet just to haul around my licences.

Will you please stop using common sense and rational thinking. WFWD doesn’t like to hear any of that.

Close hatcheries and stop maintenance on some? That seems right in line with their way of managing salmon. :doh
