Much of the Bible is straightforward and clear. There is the need for interpretation in some areas, but then that must also be based on all that is writtern which is straightforward and clear.

You will be at odds with others when you believe the Bibles the Word of God. And the only writtern Word of God on earth.

And therein is the key to any meaningful and fruitful discussion about God. If all parties see the Bible as the Word of God, and the only written Word of God, then all work from the same 'authority'. That doesn't mean there is always agreement. It does mean all sides must and will take in consideration the Scriptures that are being considered.

Effective prayer is prayer that God answers. Correct? If you're wrong in what you're praying about concerning me, which you are, will God answer your prayer?

God answers all prayers, just not in the way we often expect. Sometimes, it is a bright clear light for us to see and show us the way. Other times it is done by allowing hate to show there is a better way. There is a rose among the thorns within you.
