The forecast is now showing two weeks of sub-freezing weather through most of ND. Highs in the low 20s or even the teens. Lows even below 0 for several nights ... reminds me of what ND was like in November some 40 plus years ago. If this holds true ice fishing will be in full force before Thanksgiving.

Drove back to Wisconsin Wednesday cutting my ND trip short due to the nasty weather reports. Lots of power outages and travel advisories according to my ND friends. Stay safe! 70’s here in Brookfield today. Crazy November for sure. No travel advised for pink area.

I-94 From Jamestown to Dickinson opened this morning. Seeing some pics on the ol' FB, so I'm sure a few will be hauling west from our eastern neighbors to try their luck. Highways are still ****e and will be for awhile. Gravel roads and section line trails will be even worse or plugged. I'm guessing there will be a few NR's and Res that will pull a stupid and get stuck. Be careful.

17" I think is what the airport reported, which is also about what I measured along with a friend on the north end of town. Too much at any rate, and apparently not melting any time soon! Tons of snows were migrating over town all morning while I was out moving snow. Guessing they mostly came off of Sak or Audubon.
