We typically go to my cousins for a big crayfish boil and family get together. 2-300 lbs of crayfish, pork steaks, chicken, etc. Bounce houses, fireworks and just screwing around on the farm. It's one of my favorite weekends of the year. This year we got guilted into going to my inlaws for their 50th wedding anniversary so that we can have dinner with a bunch of people who we don't know and are 30-40 years older than us. Something that could've been worked out so we could do both but my mil is manipulative and just does what she wants and expects everyone to do what she says so now I get to deal with a cranky wife all weekend as well. Should be a great time can't wait to leave in about 30 minutes.
