Call Europtic directly and ask for the cash discount, they usually drop 10% off if you pay via e-check.

I can guarantee I'll not be shooting 3.5s. Maybe 3s once in a while.

Put a Limbsaver on mine. Made a huge difference in felt recoil reduction. 3 1/2” steel loads are no problem through it. Ordered a batch of 2 3/4” Federal HW-15 in 1 1/4 ounce of #7’s from Rogers a month or so ago. Finally opened the first of the case boxes up last week. They sent 3 1/2” cartridges in 1 7/8 ounce of #7’s instead. For some reason the Nova is more pleasant to shoot them than the A400 (w/KO), Versamax and the SBE which also has a Limbsaver on it. IMO, it may well be the fact it fits me so well.

Is your new toy the standard or super nova? Been kickin around the idea of getting the super myself. Get a bug every now and then to shoot a pump gun again and can,t decide if I want a BPS or the supernova.

For those who’s Nova’s rattle, you can tighten the allen head screws on the forearm to reduce or eliminate the rattle. You will loose some of the slickness though.

In regards to muddy fields, Novas are the best.

I’ve had mine since 2001. The choke has been stuck in it since 2003. The Ventilated rib is loose. The blueing has worn off the barrel.

The forearm rattles if you shake it at the store, never noticed it rattle in the field. The 100 plus turkeys I’ve shot with my Nova or Super Nova did not care that the forearm rattled in the store. In other words only a complete idiot/moron would shake a Nova hard enough in the field in order for it to rattle loud enough to scare away game.

Super Nova handles 3.5” shells better than the Nova.

Hey you got a shotgun. Right now they are hard to come by. Learn to shoot it and enjoy it. If the recoil is too much, get the Mercury recoil reducer from Benelli. Run a bore snake with some CLP on it after every hunt and give it a wipe down with a CLP dampened rag. It takes all of five minutes and it will extend the life of the weapon.

I started out with a Nova and moved up to the Super Nova when it came out. I believe the Super is easier on the shoulder with the Comfortech Stock and an actual recoil pad. Ive shot a lot of birds with that Super Nova and it has ALWAYS worked perfectly. They are super easy to clean, too.

    It's the regular.
I did find BPSs at a shop on the other side of town. There was no way I was going to pony up $200 more for the Browning.
