Some of us are lucky in that our body is the size and shape that guns are designed to fit.
I'm lucky and every gun out of the box FITS.
If the gun shoots right I can kill stuff with it .
FIT. If it dont fit you can't hit chit.

    Turkish?

ammo availability? I can find 16 and 10 gauges fairly easy now, whereas last year I would have avoided them because of lack of ammo.

Something else. Viz., awesomeness. I prefer guns that are a pleasure to hold--or even look at. What makes it a pleasure is oftentimes hard to explain, but I never actually makes it more lethal. I like the way my '49 Ithaca 37 16 ga feels in hand, the checkering on the grip, the slight wobble in the corncob forestock... I like the shine of my wife's mid 70's 870's walnut... I own a couple personality-free guns--but I never shot them. I can put up with a lot of disfunction provided there's character.

Fit. Wasn't on the list. If the gun don't fit, throw the list away.
