What is your go to load for waterfowl in 28 gauge?

Do some of you interchange loads if going after geese vs ducks?

My plan is to bringing them close and stay with one load

What say you guys?

I’ve only used a few loads.

Hevi steel 4’s have been very good. No complaints. Ducks and snows, no problems.

I tried a box of boss 5’s this January on decoying snow geese and was very happy with them. I’ll probably stick with them.

I take the 28 gauge out sparingly and pick shots carefully so I won’t be burning through cases.

The shellls id stay away from are the federal small game steel loads. I’ve had the brass and plastic separate twice in my franchi.

Has anyone tried the BOSS 3/5 shot?
Better to go straight number 5's vs. a 3/5 mix in the 28 gauge loads. That's what I have heard from the 28 gauge crowd. Lots of them like the 6's too.

Go TSS and move up to 9's........
