I killed big Canada's all season with # 5 boss, out of a 20 gauge.
The 3” 20 gauge load is 1 1/8 ounce. The 28 3” load is 1 1/16 ounce

What little bit of waterfowl I've shot with mine has been with some ITX reloads that the guy I bought my Franchi from threw in and steel 6s. The ITX reloads preform great on big ducks. Steel works if they're close and is good for teal.

I've shot Hevi X 6s and Hevi Steel 4s out of my 28. Not really impressed with either one. I would like to try the new Black Cloud 3" 4s and 3s. Need to find a 3" gun now.

I've had fantastic results Bismuth 4s, 5s & 6s when used at appropriate distances. I roll my own but BOSS 4s are devastating out of my 16.

I have not loaded a more devastating load in the 28 ga than the 15 g/cc #7's ! It pounds big ducks as far as I can hit'em and Big Park geese
just roll-up at the shot ! Remember , pattern density rules the sky and pellet density helps when it gets there !
