What exactly is a "PETA/Humane Society approved and State of Illinois permitted nest management protocol"? Are these speciality trained dogs PETA/Humane Society approved? I mean we wouldn't want to create any emotional distress on these poor geese by chasing them all day. Or what about the dogs emotional state of mind by being forced to hard labor day after day. The poor animal souls. Oh the humanity!
On 2nd thought why don't we just shoot these things and donate the meat to a food pantry. You know kill 2 birds with 1 stone kind of thing. Oh wait. That's probably not PETA/Humane Society approved. That would prevent government over reach and save tax payers money. Why would we want to do that in Illinois. Our almighty Governor is going to save our state with this Corona Virus bail out! Rant over.
**** I shared wrong link yesterday lol. Try again https://www.news-gazette.com/news/l...cle_06e4509a-8f46-580d-ac0a-37453941b50a.html
I am very familiar with this area. As much as I would like to see the numbers of geese in this area be hunted it is not going to happen. These birds are no different then the down town inner city birds from Chicago.
Your missing out on a good thing here Build a 2 hole course on you land to play golf in the summer and to hunt geese on in the winter.
