I bought a Browning Gold Lite 10 Last week and it came with this choke. Gun is used but was made in 2019 so it wasn’t hardly used at all. The choke doesn't have markings, notches, or any other identification on it. Does anyone know what choke this is??
Have you measured constriction? Could be a pattern master or wad wizard if constriction is very light and has small studs in the choke.
Here’s a picture of my Pattern Master for my BPS 10ga. No markings on my tube either, but the ports are perfectly round not oblong like yours. A few shots at the pattern board should tell you everything you need to know.
Measuring it and pattering it will not tell me what i need to know... I’m looking for the Brand and model. Yes measuring and pattering will tell what it is effective for but not what it is.
Not sure the make, but that is a straight rifled choke which some turkey chokes use. Takes the spin off the wad which can tighten the pattern
I’m not trying to be a smart *ss, but if you how it shoots and what game it’s good for, why is the manufacturer and model so important to you?
Exactly, I thought it was a turkey choke and I have zero desire to turkey hunt. It would be a whole lot easier to sell it if I knew what it was. When i return home from work next week I will measure it to give me an idea but its not even at the end because its some sort of rifled choke at the end. Basically I am going to sell it unless I like the pattern it shoots then I would probably like to buy another one for my bps 10.
