As noted above, nobody is arguing that.

    However, you said............
    That isn't true.
You ever hear of a thing called 'running traffic'?

Yes, you have to be in the right "location" or you're wasting your time.
    Get it now?

I've shot plenty of geese with out ever touching the call. Some days I think calls hurt more than help. For me it's location, concealment, decoys than calling. I prefer nice decoys to a good caller. Shoot some days the best "caller" is just a flag.

This coming from the guy that thinks duck decoys need to be so realistic that they could blink their eyes :l :l :l I laughed for real when I read that part.

give me the biggest decoy you've got we used 48-42inchers in a beanfield against a timber. about 400yds from 250 big feet and 4 pro callers we limited out with 8 while they got 1 till we left. I've added another 8 dz since all used when I see em I buy em. ps all my fullbodies are now white

They only need to be realistic if they want me to buy them.
I have an aversion to gargoyles in my spread.
Realism never hurts, it only helps.

For what it’s worth I see geese all the time resting and sleeping in fields early season. Don’t over think it.

Agree. Call to get their attention and more times than not I think calling in close especially does more harm than good and have seen countless tolls feet down with little to no calling when they are close. Tried it all, and group calling and come to the conclusion call to get um calling or if they go by to try to turn them but mostly just let the deeks and a good hide bring um in.

I'll add weather/conditions. If I want to kill those long necked bassturds; I need all the local ponds to freeze up... Then I'll have a picnick on the big water for a few days!
