What kind of bird??

    Appears to be a Connecticut warbler. Might be two in the photo. At least I think. Did this come from the northern part of the state?

    Not to far north-Marquette county. I don't think I've seen a Connecticut Warbler before.

    Still spring migration for most warblers. The mostly breed in Canada, although a very small number breed in far northern Wisconsin.

    I agree that it is a Connecticut warbler. I just was on the corner bird I'd site and it does breed here in Wi. Very cool capture, they nest in the boreal forests and like to forage in thickets. Awesome pic
