I will be packing lots of heat when I go to work tomorrow. I should be in and out of the ghetto before they get out of bed

Poor choice of weapon. A 12 gauge would have cleared the streets. Nothing says retreat like a 15 or 20 of your fellow terrorist writhing in pain in the streets with no functional knees.

I typically carry a G17 and two spare mags. 52 rounds should get me to my vehicle, at the least. It's a much better weapon than a pistol. 6000 pounds at any real speed beats a 124gr bullet.

I'm guessing he wasn't real familiar with it.

We turned on the TV that evening by accident & thought oh hell thats here?

This fool didn't have an entrance or a exit plan. After getting beaten & his car torched. He comes back after about an hour and just about gets a second beatdown.

Go looking for a fight you'll find one.
