I decided to clean out my bar area today and way in the back I came across a tin that I didn't remember having. I opened it and to my surprise, it contained what I thought was going to be a pretty decent bottle of Whiskey. I was thinking about indulging in a sip tonight, but thought perhaps I should look it up to see what year it was. Upon inspection of the inside, I noted that it was from 1991... the year I moved into my present home. I looked it up in the internet; and got a bigger surprise. $1,000 Bottle!

That’s pretty awesome Mort. We found these in Gramps basement 8 years ago. We drank the CR from 1969 (my birth year). Saving the another bottles for my daughters wedding.

There was a guy from my hometown that made a right snappy sport coat out of Crown Royal bags. Word of caution...the purple dye used to color the bags will bleed color when wet.

Yes they will! I keep my calls in the CR bags & one day I fell in the rice field and my pit bag got wet. My CR bag purple dye bleed and now looks “dirty!” :l

Not this. The owner of this liquor store bought the dinner gun a few months ago at our annual waterfowl banquet.

You all got me interested in the Pappy Van Winkle stuff, went to their website seen what was MSRP THEN seen what people were getting for a bottle! Holy Ch!t!!!! Of course the distillery commented that they had no control over the asking/getting price! Too bad as I’d like try a glass but not at those prices - that’s for you rich Duck Club folks! ;) :l
