    No pics cause it was gone in a New York minute. Made lime cilantro garlic marinated flank steak with grilled tortillas and all the fixins. We’re all stuffed

    I’m working. Picked up some extra time this weekend so a friend doesn’t have to work. Just had his thyroid taken out. Also another guy, a veteran wanted the weekend off too. So I helped him out.

    A feast of wild beasts...

    Elk tenderoin. Elk backstrap. Antelope tenerloin. Elk kabobs. Whitetail tenderloin.

    Sides: Corn cobs. Smashed red taters. Various vegetables. Roasted garlic. Bread.

    Fishing every day, so I'm not spending much time on the grill. Did have a crawfish boil Friday. No photos, but made yesterday omelets from the leftovers. 20200523_094334.jpg

    That does sound tasty. Smoked a marinated flank steak last weekend for first time on smoker w/Applewood. Very good. Even my daughter in law liked it and that's sayin something!

    How long did you smoke it and at what temp? That sounds like next times project

    May have to bring it in to finish in the oven. Weather is fixing to get really nasty. Spc talking big hail and tornadoes. Need it to hold off till 530 but its already lightning and I just got chased in by the rain.
