@Chance1 I've heard alot of good feed back on the affinity lately great gun for the money... it's another gun I wouldnt mind owning I do like the spring being up on the forearm instead of taking the butt stock off to clean it if the gun took a dunk in mud or water

I think the most comfortable benelli 12ga I ever handled was the vinci 3" model I shot that gun the best out of the few benellis I've owned and I ever shot... I know alot of people think it's a ugly gun but it's also very convenient to clean do to no spring in the stock

If I had to replace my SBEII I'd look hard at the Franchi. I have no complaints about my Benelli but it would be hard for me to spend that much again when I only hunt half dozen or so times a years anymore.

They are not built at the Benelli factory.

The M1/M2 platform is perhaps the best auto ever made. They function flawlessly with heavy and light loads, need minimal cleaning, point extremely well and are of course simple to clean.

Really no need for the extra cash on the BEST. Oil with Eezox and you will never see rust.

Never shot anything but the original versions, but knowing what I now do about 3 1/2", I wish my SBE was a M1. (Most often hunt with a Montefeltro 20.

Yeah, the Franchi Affinity elite 3 was another one on the shortlist. I think its going to come sown to either that or the M2. Out to eyeball them now, if i can find any in stock.

What load have you settled on for shooting ducks with your 20 gauge?
