Wish I could get my SO to hunt.

She's happy to stay at the camp and knit and have breakfast ready when we get back, so I can't complain too much.

My wife had never touched a gun until we got together 9 years ago. I got her shooting apples with a .22 and hollow points which made her think she was Annie Oakley. Next was a .22 target pistol at the indoor range. She’s a natural. Concealed carry is on the table now that she can “safely” handle a firearm but it’s very unlikely I’ll ever get her to dispatch an animal that isn’t threatening her. However, it’s hasn’t been for naught. Before we met she was anti-gun and anti-hunting. I’ll never get a pic of her with anything she’s shot (other than a target) but on the plus side she never gives me grief over my hunting/shooting escapades. FYI, the gun my wife is holding in the photo below is a Sako L579 Forester Mannlicher with peep sights in .243 Win. Her new favorite. 28 gauge O/U is the next step in her evolution.
