So russia would invade and subjugate Ukraine, and stop there? Why?
Russia didn't just wake up one morning and 'invade' Ukraine. She had been submitting documents giving security arrangements with the U.S. and NATO. Her main demand was that Ukraine never become part of NATO. For obvious reasons. These were refused, thus the attack upon Ukraine.
Russia might not stop there, but the only countries she might later invade are those that belonged to the old Soviet Union. Just like Ukraine was. Russia is not going to attack a NATO country, unless provoked. And today there is a lot of provokation going on.
Ukraine has been a cesspool of corruption since the fall of the Soviet Union. That is one of the reasons NATO didn't want her in. And the people of Ukraine didn't want to be part of NATO. And the Ukrainian people are more Russian than Western. Of course the people's attitude changed when Russia annexed Crimea.
Since elected in 2019, Zelensky has been dragging the world and the U.S. into a global conflict pushing for NATO membership when NATO didn't want them, and Russia certainly didn't want it. And Zelensky would know Russia would disapprove, because Russia/Putin sees NATO as a threat...as she/he should.
Zelensky is power hungry. He gets to meet with NATO members as one of them. He gets to meet with the G-7 as one of them. He talks with the head of China, Xi Jin Ping, etc. etc. He doesn't have a vote...yet. But he influences them. And he continues to ask for more, more, more.
Europe is giving in and now going to allow fighter jets to be sent. And the U.S. is being pressured and sucked into doing the same though she said she would not.
The only outcome of this will be WWIII. The West, in following Zelensky, has created this. Will it be worth it? As I have said before, that agreement that Ukraine never become part of NATO sure looks good now.

Zelensky is so power hungry that he is demanding that Russians go back to Russia so Ukrainians can have their own language, history, and country. The audacity.
As Ukrainian citizens and their children were freezing, with no water and starving during Putin's relentless attacks on the power grid and water supplies, I am sure the thing foremost on their minds was, thank you comrade Putin.
I am sure they had similar sympathies when Russian troops raided their homes taking anything valuable they could get their hands on. Vehicles, farm equipment, harvests, children were all taken back to Russia. Why did the Russian troops not think the comrades they were "liberating" would not need these things to proper under Russian rule? You can rape our daughter comrades but please do not kill her as she is our only child. It is no accident that invading Russians were met not with open arms, rather small arms, poisoned pastries baked by Babushkas, wood alcohol infused vodka, and molotov cocktails. That occupied areas starving residents were forced to get Russian passports to get food and water was not winning hearts, minds and an expression of Russian patriotism.

As history will show by the documentation of Russia's war crimes, they have no "high ground".

The dude is very likely paid to be here. I never see him posting anywhere else. The guy is a walking parrot for Russian propaganda. He mixes truth (Ukrainian corruption) with a very skewed version of geopolitical events and make Russia appear forced to invade. Either a willing idiot, a downright traitor, or Muscovite doing his 9-5.
Biden has threatened sanctions against Uganda for enacting laws of possible death penatly for any in the queer community.
My oh my, how the U.S. has changed. We now go against the laws of God. We now go against a nation that is being more obedient to the laws of God. And we enact laws protecting that which God hates.
Yet the U.S. goes proudly into war thinking our past power and victories will repeat. But, She, the U.S., forgets, that is from God. And we were once with God. But now, we are not. Now we support that which is against God. Yet we expect God to be with us.
He will not. Without God, the most powerful nation in the world is nothing. Just something to be removed out of the way at will.

God could very well be with China as a judgement against the U.S.
China never was with God. The U.S. was.
But the U.S. left God. And God can and will use foreign and unbelieving nations against His people when they turn away from Him.

Seems like a pretty US-centric perspective. If the US turns away from God, then we as a country are no longer His people, thus God has no use to use foreign nations against us per your quoted scripture.
Btw Arab Muslims have similar thoughts regarding their shirking of traditional Islam and the supposedly subsequent downfall of the Arab Muslim Empire. Kinda weird.
