Be careful and smart out there today.
bumped the wind up to 25-35. gonna be fun. be safe as well. good luck
It picked up pretty quick at about 2am up here. Saying gusts to 50mph. Be safe.
Don't think I'ld want to be in a boat on Rend today.
Thought going to timber would be a sure bet. It was good for ducks, but the large chunks of dead tree limbs hitting the water made ya think a little.
yea i had that happen before! pucker factor kicks in
so how did it go today???
almost a four man limit. lots of divers moving around. had lots of fun most importantly.
That wind was something else today.
We had white caps in the decoys when we picked up
with 4" of water.
It was a real SOB.
The ducks flew and many of them died.
I trashed 2 decoys and lost a new boat cushion.
We got to see a guy tear his trailer axle completely
off the trailer. The state dredged the ditch around the ramp
If you backed to far to the side the wheels would fall
concrete and get hung up.
He slide the boat off and gave it heck up the
ramp and the axle[springs and all] came off.
I helped him load it in the back of his truck.
The right spindle was at a 45 degree angle.
what a way to ruin a good day. some of those public ramps can get interesting.
