We had a pretty good day a couple of week ago where 2 guys managed to shoot 40 pigeons with flocks of over 100 decoying!

Most of my pigeon places have dried up. Great fun and the best practise you can get. Good job.

Do you eat the pigeons? I used to shoot pigeons with some buddies as a kid. If you skin them they taste just fine.

Pigeons are delicious. There was a time all you had to do was stop and ask at just about any dairy operation and they would let you have a shoot. Now it’s a rare find to get on a place.

This is fun. I miss it so much. Did it for years and years for a dairy close to home. We shot 100's in single outings. Have well over 100 pigeon bands. Best day out was 292 burner in a couple hours one morning and 248 one evening. Unfortunately, dairy shut down with Covid and its all memories. Some of the most fun shooting out there for sure.
