Don't remember ever hunting Tri-County Virg . Didn't hunt 8 & 39 a whole lot either . Could not stand the drunks and dog fights in the draw line . Hope everyone has a safe and Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year .
Lived in Fowler then Lafayette from 52-90. First draw was as a 19 year old with two other pups none of whom had ever waterfowl hunted before in 71 at the Slough. Over the years hunted there, once at LaSalle and a couple of times at the Kank. Hunted JP more than anywhere else. Had some good times. Lived in Washington IN from 93-2000. Hunted Glendale a lot. Guess I hunted Hovey a few times. While in Washington had a cousin move to Silver Lake so hunted TriCounty with him several opening weekends. Lots of draws. More good than bad. I haven't hunted in four years. Loss of partners to death and distance and health concerns put an end to it. I've lived in Carterville IL since 2000. Missed the goose years. Had some decent duck years. Merry Christmas and thanks for the memories.
Well did we have a BIG PUSH during this second season with all the cold and snow to the north, or did I miss it again.
