Looking for your one go to venison recipe. Our venison is very tasty, so not really looking for “cover up the flavor” recipes, but post whatever you like, obviously.:)

Hard to narrow down to just one. I like cooking cuts that are overlooked by most ( shanks, neck roast, ribs, heart, liver, heart) because anyone can cook a back strap.

Opening weekends, I usually smoke a fresh deer leg. Rub is usually different every time , but usually heavy on black pepper. ( Salt, Pepper, Garlic, Rosemary, Thyme). Usually smoked with oak, or pecan wood from the farm. Super easy and makes for a good lunch
