Ok, now I'm jealous.
Good stuff all the way around.
MQ love the old school camo on your daughter. All the pictures are great. Kids making memories. Take them early take them often from here on out.
It was a great first time bringing a junior from an extended relative. He’s already talking about next season as he’s 15 years old. This kid is a shooter and I’m excited to apply for all the junior opportunities next year. He started and ended his limit with some great looking sprig. Thankful for a good friend that tagged along and helped out making his first day great. Now the hunt is on for youth gear on end of season clearance.
This was my best hunt day of the year and it had nothing to do with the amount or quality of birds.
Last JR hunt! Always great hunts....
I enjoy seeing those 18 year old juniors killing birds....,
That’s a wrap.
My 8 year old was exhausted after that test. It was all he could do... we had a great weekend this weekend and I can’t believe how he can shoot. Never would have thought back in August where he would be by this weekend.
Legally they have to be under 18.
If they were keeping younger kids out of the field I might not agree with the decision to increase the age. That’s not the case. Any junior with the want has amble opportunity to hunt the JR hunt. It seems like a VERY under participated event.
It’s a great hunt, pretty much a gaurantee to have a good flight. From what I have seen it continues to add passion for this sport.
