What a joy for this Grandpa. Limited and just had a great time.

Their last youth weekend and proud to be a part of it.

Hope others faired as well.

Great picture and a right to be proud! It looks like one is a spoonie shooter, while the other isn't! Since i will shoot them anytime, thats just an observation.

Solid work. I’d rather eat like the one on your left, but I tend to shoot like the one on your right…minus the pintail.

Great work and glad you guys had fun.

The one went first 3 birds, 3 shots. The other doubled in teal. One got the sprig. One all teal.

Only 2 spoons and it was due to lack of birds flying. Lots of birds sitting. Only 1 other kid out and very little shooting anywhere around. Birds seemed happy to enjoy their meal with the huge moon, then just loaf come morning.

So, the spoons were taken to finish up … and a tribute to their great grandpa ( my dad). An ode to days at Wister, in the heat…. Praying to get a bird or two and spoons were always fair game. Still are IMO.

God, it was fun…..
