They the (LEOS) better bring plenty of ammo to subdue the animals and gain control. This has gone on way to long not only in WDC but in the major cities. DEVGRU or the Night Ninjas- Delta maybe a better fix.

Honestly, if you stay out of a handful of area's in DC, you should be fine but **** can get out of hand anywhere.

The last time I rode the METRO (8-10 years ago), I was heading down the GWU section of the city.....nice area all things considered. The kids on the train acted like animals and seize upon perceived weakness, I saw it in person. They didn't rob or beat anyone down, but they were yelling at folks, acting a fool.....You could tell people were scared and the kids loved it.

Policing will help day to day but there is a major breakdown of society going on in the cities that the LEO's can't solve.

Can't. Until the fathers stay out of jail and in the kids lives and they envision a way out of the cycle of government handouts it will just get worse. I've never been considered someone with a ton of compassion (I'm trying...), but 99% of those kids aren't getting out....

I’d posit that poor parenting is a major issue that is rooted in lack of accountability for the acts of offspring. When their kids do stupid things, parents need their own irresponsible butts kicked too for not setting and enforcing civilized behavior standards for their children.

Agreed 100%.
Easy to talk about the crime in Baltimore, but the amount of behavior that’s just kinda deranged but doesn’t technically “hurt” anyone is almost constant.
Unfortunately I think many kids are practically growing up in an asylum.
