Ah...the Vikes, almost made the spotlight, now let it all go, and back to being a farm team for the league. Oh well, the fate of a Minnesota pro team.

Any bets on how many games JJ plays before he's out again on IR??

I have hoped for the kid but plenty of rookies, and that's what he is, have tried and failed. Now we are down to just him since they got rid of everyone else. I don't think it will take long for Seattle to see what they really got in Darnold. Maybe he's another Mayfield, but it could just as easily go south for them.

Darnold looked good most of the season. But most of those wins were against loing record teams. Basically only wins against good teams were the 2 against the Packers. He looked terrible in the 4 loses against the Lions and Rams. I am guessing that was the REAL Darnold.

Aaron Rodgers is considering a shocking decision about his future that might leave two teams walking away empty-handed.

Rodgers wants to sign with the Minnesota Vikings, but the Vikings have yet to decide if they want to sign him, according to Michael Silver, Dianna Russini and Alec Lewis of The Athletic. The decision ultimately lies with Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell, and the organization will not pursue Rodgers without O’Connell’s blessing.

The Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Giants are both pursuing Rodgers, but the quarterback does not sound as interested in those teams. The report even states that if the Vikings do not pursue Rodgers, he could choose to snub his other suitors and retire.

I think it is worth a try. Otherwise we are talking about a rookie coming off a season ending injury who has never thrown a pass in the NFL. Didn't Rodgers sit behind Farve for 2 years before starting? And didn't Love sit behind Rodgers for 2 years also?

This team will be better than last year's. But can they go all the way with a QB who has never played a game in the NFL?

Washington got lucky winning the way they did with a rookie QB. Otherwise nobody does that.
