Russia could not and would not abide Ukraine in NATO. They said it over and over and even Putin confirmed it in this last meeting with Trump. It would have meant the break up of Russia. With Ukraine on the doorstep like that and the way that the deep state did it, was a foreshadowing of what they would have tried to do in Russia. Russia said no and FAFO. Biden was brain dead, Kamala was not in charge. So the deep state (State department and alphabet soup) played their cards. Millions killed because of them.

Trump is fixing it and he should get credit for creating the best opportunity for peace and security for Russia and Ukraine. I hope Zman takes the deal and if he does not, then I hope we cut ties with them completely.

Purely hypothetical, what would happen if the EU brought Ukraine in?

I don't think that is a problem because the EU doesn't (currently) have a federal armed forces. The EU is just an "economic/socialism control" kind of body. I don't think Russia would have even blinked an eye in the past and wouldn't going forward.

The EU wants Russia's energy and can not wait to get back to buying it.

LOL! So what about Finland? They border the USSRII and joined NATO because of USSRIIs invasions of other countries. And of course Sweden joined NATO in response to USSRII. Ukraine has every right to join NATO if they wish and were invited. "Millions killed" due to an unwarranted invasion.

Is the social and political integration of Finland/Sweden even remotely close to what was happening in Ukraine/Russia? Do we have biolabs in Finland/Sweden? Is our state department and alphabet soup activity destabilizing Finland dand Sweden's governments in order to use them as a pawns in the "WAR" against Russia?

Apples and hamsters. It is not about geography only.
